The Australian National Parks department are supposedly meant to protect and preserve our Aboriginal Culture and the land. In this painting we see that the land is dying and the walkways constructed National Parks Department are in very bad condition. Meaning that they have to do better to understand the environment and the Indigenous people that have lived here since the beginning of time. Our land and heritage needs to be better looked after for all to enjoy in the futurer. Our Mother Earth needs us to work better together, as one, so all species will have a chance to survive.
Traditional Story:
Men and women are going on their path way for the ceremony business. They have to go many miles and go through many other peoples lands. On their journey they will have many meeting and corroborees. This is where marriages are formed and friendships are made between each group. Sometimes the women will go off and do their business and the men will do the same. They will also come together as a family. When the big ceremony is on, Lore is past down and men and women are made.
